Return to Loma Linda for Dog-Sitting and Spring Travel in California > March 2022

On March 5, 2022 we "hit-the-road" again, this time for some early spring travel that took us back to Southern California (Loma Linda) to do some dog-sitting for my sister's dogs (Abbie and Pepper) while she and an artist friend stay at our place for a "plein aire paint-out".  One our way we spent the night in Baker California near the Alien Jerky and Mad Greek stores...see pictures below.  Then on March 6 we traveled the backway through the Mojave National Preserve to its Kelso Depot visitor center which is near the Kelso Dunes.  It was beautiful and sunny but very cold wind.

Below are some of the photos on this phase of our spring trip.  We will be traveling most of March in Southern and Northern California to see spring flowers, where we find them.  And also visiting my old alma mater at Pacific Union College in Angwin (Napa Valley) California.  Then we return around March 25 to our home in Rockville Utah to prepare for the coming irrigation season and for our April > May trip to see our grandkids in Switzerland.  Though with war now going on in Europe, we are having to be flexible...who knows what can  happen!  Pray for peace!!
